Top 3 walks in the Grampians for us. It's pretty much uphill right from the car park but pretty well designed. A few steeper sections with rock stairs but nothing too long. The initial section is also the starting point to Signal Peak so I'd you are feeling energetic you can cross over and do that second. Pretty easy to stay on trail with only a couple of points where you need to pay attention. While it is considered a hard walk you ain't need any real experience in hiking to get up and back. Good hike, nice plateaus, so not just straight climb up. 2 hrs 40 mins up and down.

Mount Abrupt (Mud-Dadjug) is a 6.5 kilometre grade 4 hike in Grampians National Park that typically takes about three hours to complete.
