Our deal with Motto was supposed to close back on July 25th and currently we are still not closed. They have done nothing but continue to extend closing. This is a constant reoccurrence with them. If you want to close on time look elsewhere.

Like others, I had an extremely poor experience with this company, along with the real estate team and closing company. Upon researching them, Steven Myers owns Urban Cool Homes, Motto Mortgage Charged, and Capital Title. They’re all terrible. Poor service, unkempt employees, very very weird dimly lit closing room with no signs to lead you there along with a strong bad smell, unprepared closer without closing papers prepared ahead of time, delayed closing because of the loan team and relator, no one answers calls or emails, ... read more

If I could rate with minus 10 stars, I would. I had to find another lender as their lender could not make it happen with the purchase of our new home. Our closing was changed twice before I got a new lender. Waited 3 months to get into our new home. Promises made there not kept. Horrible communication. Broker doesn’t answer or return calls. I left calls, text messages and emails that were never returned or not returned when promised. Kept putting us off. Motto is a great locally present mortgage company finding the best rate possible, and very accessible.
