Booked car in for new timing belt and diagnosis of knocking noise along with MoT and service. All discussed and agreed weeks in advance. Told to drop car off at 9am one morning. Went to drop car off and nobody showed up until about 9:15 so kept me and my lift waiting around. These things happen. Garage called the following week to say car ready to be collected. Timing belt not done. Noise not diagnosed or fixed. £450 bill for the work they did feel like doing. The search for a reliable mechanic continues...
Peter serviced my car for me, and did a fantastic job. I feel as though I am driving a brand new car; he evidently spent time addressing all the areas that needed attention to make sure it would run smoothly. Peter did a good job diagnosing and replacing a noisy wheel bearing. He even checked the car over to ensure everything was ok. He was very informative explaining everything he was going to do. All fixed at a good price and it was a pleasure doing business with him. I will certainly go back if I need anything else done with the car.
