I have a friend who purchased a Toyota Hiace from the Motorcycle Warehouse. As with all used vehicles, you really don't know if everything is going to work until you drive it off the lot. She really wanted the Hiace with 4x4 capacity. Me and a friend of hers, while checking out the 4x4 engage level, were unable to get it into the 4x4 possition.
