Buyers Beware!!! Alls good when buying the trailer but when it comes to service it’s lower than one star. 7 weeks to diagnose a blower motor on our heater. Then beware ( your extended warranty ) doesn’t cover freight or little extra costs! What a waste of money! Be careful buying Winnebago trailers also. Used to be top of the line but everything from heater ( broke twice ) slide ( broke twice ) water leaks, door latch off center, dining table latch was 1” off, and this trailer is only 1 1/2 year old. I just bought a 2021 Forest River GT5 34H5 from Motor Sportsland in Salt Lake City Utah. They beat all the big National RV dealers on price and service which made my transaction very easy and pleasant. All minor issues were taken care of immediately on the spot prior to me driving home. The RV store on site was well stocked with almost everything you need for your new rig. Purchased a 2009 Heartland Bighorn from Motor Sportsland this month. We traveled 480 miles one way to get it. When hooking up in their parking lot, the landing gear quit working. They came out and replaced the landing gear promptly and did not charge us for the gear or labor to install it. Great people and great dealership. Thanks Motor Sportsland.
I had to purchase a part for my R-Pod and the process took forever. Weeks on end without any update from Sarah in parts. Finally I called customer service at forest river myself and was able to get the parts shipped. Not happy at all and will try to a APIs motorsportsland if I can.
I have to say that this company could have just done just like one of the used car dealerships and sold me junk that they knew about it. They did not do that, they did an inspection and found the floor had soft spot under the tub. The company called me and informed me of the issue. I was told they will get the floor fixed so the tub doesn't break one some tries to use it. This is five star service to me and I am now happy I chose to shop here! 3 stars which I could update later and improve. I drove from out of state to purchase a trailer that I really wanted. This was the nearest dealer that wasn’t trying to gouge me with fees. The agreement went smoothly over the phone and I drove to pick up 2020 sight unseen. I’ve heard the horror stories but was prepared to inspect the unit before taking delivery.
