I was quoted $1000 max for installing a diesel heater on the basis that it would take less than a days labour. They took longer to drop the fuel tank than expected, so it ran into the second day, and then I was presented with an invoice for $1620, which I was unwilling to pay. Mike professionally handled what could have become an unpleasant conflict, and agreed to meet me in the middle at $1200 which I accepted as appropriate. The heater itself appears to have been installed well.
