I'm a graduate surveyor of Chapman's school of Seamanship and Daniel May of Motorchecklab gave a talk on the benefits of oil analysis as part of our course. I now strongly recommend to my clients that they get an analysis done of their oil. I have found it is a very cost effective way to get peace of mind as a potential owner of a boat and in many instances has highlighted issues at an early enogh stage to save considerable repair bills. I sent the oil sample and within the day of them receiving it they emailed me the results. The owner of the company also called me because I requested a little explanation of the results and he was very professional. I would have no problem using them again in the future.
