John is the best bike mechanic in town! I had an issue after a drop, where I couldn’t get my bike aligned properly no matter how hard I was trying. I brought my bike to John and he had it figured out and fixed in less than two days. He also gives fantastic general advice about maintenance and riding, always great conversations and insight. Whenever I have another problem I cannot figure out, MotoFix is always where I’m going to bring my bike.
John is the motorcycle whisperer! He is very knowledgeable on many types of bikes, his rates are fair, and he does great work. To boot, John is friendly and quick to share his motorcycle wisdom, tips, and tricks with you. Highly recommended for quality service at a reasonable price.
I had my tires ordered and installed by John right before a big trip. I also had some questions about my front forks. John was very thorough he looked over my motorcycle, test road it and even offered to top off my shaft drive oil. He answered all my questions. I spoke to John on the phone to have my dirtbike looked at. Unfortunately, he is moving his shop so couldn't take me on but offered advice over the phone. Super friendly and I hope we have a chance to work together in the future. Thanks John!
I was fortunate to meet John about 8 years ago when I took my 1977 Suzuki GS1000C project bike to his shop to fix a number of wiring issues. He did an excellent job fixing multiple electrical issues, including replacing the stator/rectifier. Although John typically focuses on Japanese bands he has done some electrical work on my 2008 Beta which has a KTM motor. He has also done work on my Honda Nighthawk.
