I bought my duramax heads to these guys about 1 year ago to have them decked as I was doing a head gasket job on my truck. Their machinist found the heads were pitted and had to be cut .010", which could potentially cause issues with piston/valve interference. To remedy this, he proceeded to calculate the required distance the valve seats had to be cut back and went on with the work.
