Wonderful experience here!
The worst! I was charged $230 for a walking boot I was recommended to use at a med center before I was able to see an orthopedic. I told them I didn’t think I’d need it but they assured me it was covered and didn’t go toward my unmet ded. 4 months later I get a bill from motion for this boot that I didn’t even need because once I saw orthopedics they said it was fine to be wrapped. I explained this to the billing department, who was condescending telling me I should “be more familiar with my insurance”. I work with insurance... read more
Those ~$250 orthopedic boots that the insurance won't pay for before the deductible is met... It somehow $46 on Amazon but will be billed to you (me) at $230.72 . Everyone has to make money , but sorry , your cover has been blown... Don't put me in the middle of your fight for money with the insurance company - I hope that's not what's happening... Congratulations for blaming the insurance for you charging 10x for a boot. I want everybody to know that I think the wholesale price of this boot is $23.
