Kick ass food
We ordered the lamb and chicken biryanis at Moti Mahal thinking it would bring the authentic Indian flavors. However, we were really disappointed with what we received. Being an Indian who has tried different variety of biryanis before, I can say for sure that it was no where close to the biryani that we get in India. It tasted like a tawa pulao with lot of onion, tomato and spicy sauce. Even the raita that we got was really sour with no veggies like onion/cucumber/carrot. It is my favorite restaurant in KC. The chicken masala with raita and garlic naan are excellent. I’ve been there twenty or more times, and the service has been excellent and kind every time. Kudos! (Please try to ignore the negative reviews-must be a grumpy competitor)
Look at the way business false accused customers for honest reviews. We visited Moti Mahal yesterday, but the experience was far from great. We were greeted with sticky doors and unpleasant interiors with a stink. The starters were disappointing. The Moti Mahal platter had a taste that was far below average, and we couldn’t find anything we liked. The paneer tikka and naan were tasty, though. The Biriyani was another letdown.
