Great joices,sweet owner The first time I can here, I had no idea what to expect and ended up buying my son some great clothing. Yes, there are a lot of them, so there's lots to choose from. I read some other poeple's not so nice comments and really, what you need to keep in mind, is you're not Nordstroms, so don't expect the clothing to be in brand new condition, but you are also not paying those prices. A+ for shopping and selling! This shop is full of treasures. It reminds me of shopping aardvarks, penny lane and elephant boutique.... but even better because there is so much more there for CHILDREN AND PREGNANT WOMEN!!! found tons of clothes and things for my kids up to junior and women's sizes. Mothers Secret is horrible, i do not recommend Horrible store customer service. Went there and no prices; disorganized. Asked for clarification and the person working there snapped indicating it is to hard to put prices on items. Will never go there again.
the owner is always friendly and the items always clean!! Every time I shop at Mother's Secret, the owner greets me with a smile and I always leave with adorable clothes for my girls. My best friend lives in the bay area and always wants to go there when she visits to find things for her son (mostly great pants). Nothing Fantastic I tried several times to buy maternity clothing here. I had no luck. Yes, the owner is very friendly, but this is more of a kids resale store than maternity store. The items were priced fairly high, and I usually thought I could get a similar item cheaper brand new from another store. I wouldnt drive far out of my way to browse here, but it youre close by, maybe you will get lucky.
I LOVE Mother's Secret I have found so many great treasures including toys and clothing at Mother's Secret. I refuse to pay retail prices and I don't have to thanks to this store. Plus, you will not find a woman that works harder than the owner, Cathy does. She works her butt off day in and day out to keep this place going - and she's got a little one of her own. Yes this store is a little crowded but it is totally worth it if you don't mind doing a little looking.
Mothers Secret is overcrowded While there is a large selection of children's clothing/strollers/toys, the store is really overcrowded and difficult to shop in. Also, there was a lingering smell of spit-up throughout the store that may make it hard to distinguish which clothes are clean.
A true disappointment! The store was crowded, dirty and did not smell fresh. There were no price tags, just signs with amounts ranging from $1.99-6.99 for items on the rack. Every item I checked on was $6.99. The staff was on the phone during my entire visit and never actually stopped to answer any questions. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
Besr Kept Secret In Orange Mother's secret is the best secret in North Orange that every parent & grandparent should discover!!!! Yes- the store is small & crowded. But that is because it's full of everthing You'll need!! I recomend not coming in when You're in a hurry, it takes time to look through the huge amount of inventory they have there.
