A gem in’s downtown Durham. Delicious frittatas, very nice coffee, nice ambience and very friendly staff. Must try!!!!
I have been wanting to go here for years and was so disappointed . The food was average at best. The Rigatoni and eggplant was basically Penne and sauce, very acidic sauce wth maybe two small pieces of eggplant. It was like something you would order off the kids menu at Olive Garden. My wife’s eggplant parm came out barely warm and had a slight burnt taste to it. Our server was great, but no rush to go back.
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant because on one hand I felt the food was great - delicious cocktails, handmade pasta, amazing pana cotta…BUT the servers were almost comically unfriendly. From the moment we sat down, it felt like they actively did not want us there. When I asked about the drink special, the server jerked her thumb backwards at a sign that said “ask your server about our spritz special” lol We were here for a business dinner and as soon as we left, all we could talk about was what felt like a weirdl... read more
This is just great spot for dinner’s anniversary and family dinners. Me and my partner loved it Customer service was great, Crispy Octopus are must try they are super delicious! I changed my pasta noodle little bit it was perfect for me and I love how it tasted. It was busy even on Monday Night and you might have to pay for parking before 7pm. Overall I would it 9/10!
