Kudos to you, but there are points here that must be addressed. Should DUI penalties be MUCH more harsh? YES they should be. If a person hits someone in a car and they pass away because you were drinking, the driver should be charged with a Class 1 Felony and sentenced to the Electric chair. Every single person out there knows, you drink and drive, you have an EXTREMELY high chance of hurting someone. You showed intent if you drank and drove. Bottom line.
