The best tacos I’ve ever had and the owners were so sweet and kind!
Mother Prepper catered an event when I was visiting Chicago from out of town. The food was so good I was seriously tempted to take a doggy bag home on the plane with me. 10/10 on the pulled beef, cilantro-y chicken thighs, butter shrimp, rice & peas. Very, very highly recommend.
If you think you’ve had great tacos but you’ve never had these, think again. Stephanie, owner and head chef, makes some of the most incredible food I’ve ever had. From the fresh, handmade tortillas to the high quality ingredients, Mother Prepper is the place to go. This business is a labor of love, from the fresh food made on site at farmers markets and pop-ups throughout Chicago, to the whole family working together, and you can taste that love in every bite.
