Love this place, it’s such a good one for locals and to have proper conversations with your mates. Went on Saturday and had to sit outside because of kids screaming inside - I get that families should enjoy the place too and can totally why it’s a good place to take children with lots of space for them but the constant screaming was too much for us to enjoy our Saturday. The staff were aware of us moving outside and made the effort said to speak to the family for us, really grateful they did.
We stopped by this pub after visiting Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens. Initially, it was a great experience-the venue is lovely, and we really enjoyed the pizza and beer. Unfortunately, the visit was ruined by the completely uncalled-for behavior of a staff member (a man with a beard and a grey hat). Looks great, long list of beers but absolutely embarrassing when one turns up with honest cash in one's pocket and it's refused. No thanks then.
