Edit: it's been 3 days and they STILL haven't sent the referral. I figured these sorts of things get sorted out at the end of an appointment, it's unbelievable how many times they can drop the ball on this. Google need to allow 0 star ratings. Can't hold a booking to save their lives, it's honestly ridiculous. Not sure how many receptionists there are but it's always the fault of "the other one". I had a concerning experience with Motherhub regarding a tongue tie procedure performed on my child. The procedure was carried out with consent from only one parent. I was not consulted prior to the procedure taking place.This experience raised serious concerns for me about the clinic’s consent protocols and decision-making processes. I would encourage other parents to clarify their expectations around shared consent before proceeding with care at Motherhub.
We received absolutely fantastic care from midwives Mel and Chrissie and Dr Nabila Rajabali for our newborn daughter’s (8 days old) tongue tie. Best example of seeking informed consent before the procedure and educating on post-treatment care I’ve experienced. After an initial consult on day 6 we had our first successful breastfeed since her birth and it only improved after the tongue tie procedure. Highly highly recommend.
Dr Sarah and midwife Jennifer saved my breastfeeding journey, I’m grateful for their help and continued support post consultation. I recommend them for any new mums with breastfeeding issues. They do a fantastic job, thankyou soo soo much for all your support and help.
