UNLESS YOU'VE OWNED A BUSINESS OR BEEN IN UPPER MANAGEMENT YOU WOULDN'T UNDERSTAND THE CRAZY AMOUNT OF ISSUES AND DAILY COMPLAINTS. DON'T ALLOW THE ACTIONS OF A FEW TO DESTROY THIS RARE AND AWESOME STORE.
Awful management, anti Semitic people who work there and run the place.
after the botched handling of antisemitism and an insincere apology, you have lost my business.
i hope people will boycott this store after finding out about the anti semitic act by an employee , including more bullying and intimidation and trying to hush the victim up. I will NOT NOT NOT be shopping in this store and I will tell everyone I know NOT to shop there either. there are other great options for shopping for food where Antisemitism and HATE crimes are not at all tolerated. Shame on MES.
I can no longer recommend this store because not only did they tolerate and protect hatred, but they also intimidated and penalized the victim of a vile and disgraceful anti-Semitic incident. Mother Earth, you had an opportunity to do the right thing and you totally and spectacularly blew it at every turn. You won't be seeing me again. What a shame.
Management doesn’t make it for a safe environment to work.
Of course, the employee that perpetrated the anti-semetic hate crime should have been fired - this was a no brainer. However, it seems that instead, a manager told the victim of the hate crime not to speak of it and even threatened HER with firing. Given that this was the reaction, it is equally clear that this manager, and anyone who colluded with the manager on this, needs to be fired as well. I shopped here often. I won't recommend a store that doesn't know how to handle racism and hate.
