Well the bathrooms do need to be updated but they are functional, the bathroom sink in our room was incredibly low tho I’m 6 foot 3 And the bath/shower was quite slippery whilst having shower can be quite dangerous for someone not so able.. so one would think if the motel is consistently full while we stayed for two nights that we stayed and i’m guessing it would be busy most nights they would generate a enough revenue to update the bathrooms gradually.. the bed was too soft our liking.. the light switches and power points w... read more
Lovely motel in Strahan, handy to everything. Room was clean and well appointed. Laundry on site was very convenient. Was quite cold weather when we arrived but the Management had turned the heating on in advance for us so we had a lovely warm room ready for our stay.
The manager at motel was great and friendly room clean and tidy and well worth the price cheers cassie and Shane from Richmond Tasmania
The motel is self-contained and it is great for staying with a small group for a while. However, there's no proper kitchen in the rooms, the only sink is in the bathroom, but there is a fridge and cupboards. The rooms are clean and peaceful.
Staff are friendly and welcoming! Rooms are spacious and nicely presented. Lots of storage and benches to place your belongings. Sliding door to small patio area was a nice little touch, to make it feel more like home. Laundry facilities are a bonus! Especially as travelling interstate this was appreciated. However, for $8 for a wash + dry you would expect the machines are not filled with piles of dust. A simple clean weekly would be must nicer for the usage of your guests. A little bit on the pricier side, but a nice stay!
