Been staying there for many years in our travels always excellent in every way. The motel has changed hands. Our room had been booked and when we arrived no one was in the office. We were a bit cranky when we got into our room as no milk in the fridge for a cuppa. Had to wait for over an hour before the owners arrived. The room should have been ready. On arrival reception Shelly was very friendly, room was very clean all good appliances with ceiling fan, most importantly the queen bed was very comfortabl, one of the best beds i have slept on in a motel, I stayed for 19 days while my mother was in hospital having rehab on broken hip, Shelly and PK were very sympathetic with my situation, they assisted me in any way they could to assist me with transport to see my mother, Shelly and PK are two of the most friendly people you could ever meet, there assistance was very much a... read more
Confirms booking at one price then card gets charged over $20 more then the original booking. Also called to confirm room is pet safe and confirm a price. Was quoted an extra $20 per night for the room (note that nothing was mentioned about a per pet charge). Then when showed up they wanted to charge me $30 per night PER PET. When I complained only charged me $40 extra for the night. Overall was charged over $60 more than originally quoted.
