This hotel cancelled my confirmed booking with no reasoning and only 48 hours prior for me to find another on the weekend. No communication or reply after email and phoning twice. I suggest call as soon as you book to ensure confirmation. I will never book this hotel as they have only been ignorant and guilty.
I had a booking through a 3rd party accommodation site.The booking was cancelled by the motel within 24hours of my arrival. It was a long weekend and I assume they cancelled as they were getting direct booking enquires which meant they paid no fees. I found out when I arrived to check-in that my booking had been cancelled on me. I had not been notified. I travel to Mackay regularly,and will never attempt to stay here again nor will I recommend.
Great location, close to mt pleasant. Wonderful little family owned and operated motel. Lovely to deal with and beds are comfy.
