If you plan on staying at the South El Monte Motel 6 location stay at your own risk.I was attacked by some guy that was staying here. I was standing at my car and a guy came up to me and asked me if I had a problem. Then he grabbed my shirt and threw a swing at me. He missed. I broke free and he went back to his room. I ran to the lobby and told the manager I was attacked and what room this guy stayed. The manager told me "what do you want me to do, you need to call the police". Beware. This establishment allows large dogs to run loose without leashes. If you have a small dog be very careful. A large dog bit me here that was not leashed. I told the owner operator and he wasn't concerned. It is up to him to enforce the leash laws to protect the visitors and the customers. The woman who had her dog unleashed was psycho. I kept telling her to get her dog and put it on a leash but she got satisfaction that the dog was attacking me. She told me that's what dogs do. She was renting a room at this hotel. B... read more

BUGS EVERYWHERE, they gave me a room without a mirror and told me they couldn't switch me to a different room. After complaining the 2nd time about the bugs then they switched us.

Only reason I’m giving one star is because I can’t go lower, I stayed there because I couldn’t find a room nowhere else but I regret it, should have stayed in my car,
