Motel 6 is a reliable budget hotel in the area and this location is no exception. The room was reasonably clean and comfortable. You might want to bring an extra blanket if you like the AC on high because it definitely works well. There's no mini fridge in the room, but the ice machine works. There's also laundry, vending machines, and free coffee in the morning. There are at least 2 working elevators. The pool is well maintained and the hot tub worked great. I've been staying at this Motel 6 location for the past 25 years. I know I have options but these folks call me by name and are always super excited to see me. I meet a lot of friends and family in Palm Springs. It's become our meeting point. The rooms are clean and the service is impeccable. I have stayed at all three locations and each location has its own charm; each location has everything you need close by, be sure to visit Shermans Deli & Bakery for an excellent breakfast or a delicious pastrami sandwich. Can you believe that I have called this hotel 5+ times to speak to a manager about our stay March 7-14th with the below review - WHY will no one call me back! UPDATE: I have left several messages at this hotel for a call back from the manager and have yet to hear back! I see your response to reach out for a resolution and I have - but no one is calling me back. This hotel is in a great location. Rooms are basic, and could use some TLC, but were clean. I was making a phone call a few doors down from my room. There was a situation where someone had broken into another room and because I was near by the Hispanic male manager thought unwashed involved, wouldn't let me leave and then threatened to shoot me. Unprofessional, rude and absolutely uncalled for. All they had to do was review their cameras. Will never stay here again.
