Good location right off the highway. The room was basic but I only needed it for a night's sleep. The room had an unpleasant smell...like a musty cleaning solution? Hard to describe. The room next to me had a barking dog!!! The mattress didn't give much support but there was plenty of hot water for my shower.
No! No! No! The reviews that claim it was a nice stay and was clean are FALSE! This place was unsafe and gross. The room smelled smoky and musty. The bed was well made but the comforter had sooo many stains. There was a fight happening out front. Our Uber driver said this is the worst hotel in the entire area. It was not safe and was unclean. We immediately requested a refund, which they thankfully completed, and we left.
No fridge or microwave in the room I got. Pretty clean and standard asides that.
Served its purpose but nothing requiring a review.
I've enjoyed staying at motel6 Niantic,Ct for years, nice clean rooms, great cable TV, great air conditioning, great staff & great prices. Sad to say, I will no longer go to motel6, Niantic,CT. because of motel6,Niantic,CT is housing more&more homeless people (section 8) where I come to feel more & more unsafe. .
