Not great for families. We stayed at location in Luling, gentleman at registration was superb(evening). Rooms have been updated a little bit.. still needs a lot of work. We stayed in the non smoking rooms however, people were smoking next door so the smoke would enter our room through the AC. We stayed 3 nights at the Motel 6.. with day 2 being weird as two guys were standing outside their room on briefs only and drinking outside. Overall, an okay stay for our family.
We needed a room after we left Marti Gras and this was perfect. It took 30 minutes to get there from New Orleans, but that was due to after parade traffic. The room was clean and comfortable and perfect for a nights sleep before returning to Dallas. The staff, Cindy and Rhiannon, were friendly and accomidating. They even let us check out an hour later because we got in so late. Will stay again next year for our Marti Gras trip.
