Alarm system disconnected, no batteries. Microwave dirty and rusted on the inside; bathroom door broken and filthy. Walls stained with traces of liquids or food; insects crawling on the walls; the hairdryer switch broken, with exposed wires. The bedspread—burned... A veritable room of horrors.
