It does have smoking rooms but everything else was unworthy of the Motel 6 name.
I could not wait to share my experience at this location. I'm a frequent traveler and rather "snobbish". So when my mother suggested Motel 6 I wasn't sure I could follow through. Memories of past travels, peeling paint, stale air & feeling unsafe fogged my mind. I could not have been MORE wrong about THIS location. We rented two rooms one room the TV didn't work the other room was handicapped accessible wreaked of marijuana and I saw the biggest cockroach just walking across the wall in broad daylight!
Rooms were out dated the staff were grateful we stopped in as we were driving a uhaul with some of our belongings which included a deep freezer which we had connected to a electric generator that helped maintain food cold while driving but hotel let us plug a extention cord from the room to the freezer that was extremely nice..
This was the best of everything out of the 4 Motel6s we stayed at on this trip.Right off of I-10, easy access and big parking. Their rooms were the largest, cleanest and friendliest staff who was a young couple. I am very satisfied and happy with the value. The room with 2beds outside door which have direct access to the parking cost the same as other M6s but just so much better. Thank you
