Pro: Easy access to highway 5. One exit away from Legoland. Plenty of parking. For the most part room is clean. Beds were somewhat comfortable. Con: Way over priced for what you get. Not sure how this property got so many stars. Customer service is lackluster. Never stayed somewhere where shampoo was not available in room. Had to ask for in from front desk. The rooms had cockroaches. The room was a good size. The bathroom was a little cramped. Service was great, and fast Location is also great The place is also very quiet, good for sleeping.
Very clean rooms, very quiet, I love the memory foam pillows. The maids are very nice, ice machine works great with good tasting ice. Very reasonable prices and the neighborhood of course is lovely cuz its Carlsbad. Stayed here 2 times now to enjoy the beach and the ocean. I will stay here again next year for sure. About $230 for 2 nites which is a steal in this economy. Our room actually had 2 queens and 1 bed was in a whole separate room. The bathroom was clean.
The people who run this place are helpful & friendly. The rooms are clean, the location is quiet. It is next to a freeway, but the noise is not noticeable from the rooms. We always stay here when visiting the area.
