Everything was great. Leticia and everyone at the front desk were nice and helpful. The room was clean and in order. The lighting could have been a little better, but no real biggie. Stayed on the backside cause I think the freeway side might have been a little loud. Overall very happy!

This was the worst Motel 6 I have stayed in. The room smelled, had to leave the door open for hour to let the room air out. The bathroom was horrible. We wouldn’t even take a shower in there. I wouldn’t even give this one star. We were not the only people complaining about the rooms.

We had a terrible experience with Motel 6 Carlsbad Ca Near Legoland. We booked our reservation over the phone for that night, but when my partner arrived, the front desk said they couldn't find it. Even though we had a confirmation, it showed the reservation was made for the next day instead of the night we intended to stay. They refused to correct the mistake or honor the reservation for that night. My partner asked them to cancel the reservation since we needed a room that same night, but they were unhelpful. I called this Motel 6 at 9:49pm today July 15, 2026 and asked them if they have an available room with 2 beds, the guy on the phone told me yes they have an availability, he confirmed to me on the phone the check in and check out date and I said only tonight July 15 til tomorrow morning July 16. 10:05pm I arrive at the Front Desk, showed him my ID, he kept insisting that he couldn’t find my reservation, I showed him the email confirmation I got, he then found out that it was booked for July 16 to July 17. We managed to get a great price on the rooms that we got. We booked 2 rooms, and requested for them to have both rooms near each other and for them to be on the first level if possible, to accommodate my father who has a hard time walking. We did book in advance and they were able to help us out with that. The lady at the office was very pleasant. The rooms were very clean, it's what you'd expect from a motel.
