Our crew is here from Montana fighting wild land fires we made a reservation on booking.com last night under our Company name after driving from the fires near Quincy California to Hayfork for our fellow firefighter. At check in my boss went to check in and the front desk gentleman proceeded to ask us both for ID. Tried to kick me out 5 minutes after I checked in for having someone help me bring stuff in, I guess no guest after 8. It was 808 when we walked into door & instantly my room phone rang. That I had to leave immediately cause I had unregistered guest. & when I asked if I can pay if it was that big of deal we had to call cops. Guess what cops never came. Tried to take my $ & kick me out with kids. (& no microwave or fridge)
manager is rude and impatient. was forcing me out of my room before I could even pay another night. would have extended my stay, but the rude and bossy manager was a reason to leave. DO NOT STAY HERE
After 10 hours of driving, & In spite of a reservation we were refused our room because my 74 year old husband( who does not drive ) could not produce a current ID. We were told all adults had to have one. This was not noted on the website, or our reservation. We have stayed here before, and they even had our vehicle license number in their system from past visits ! Ramada Inn took care of us with no problem. We will never stay in a Motel 6 again.
