Made a 7 NIGHT reservation on-line at Motel 6. for my disabled son (and his service dog) for one WEEK. in Albany Oregon and was sent a confirmation number. When he arrived, they told him he was on a DO NOT RENT LIST and sent him away. I called Motel 6 Central(National). They were very nice and agreed with me that this was discrimination but they had NO information on WHY my son was on this list. Central did say this particular Motel 6 was a franchise and could CHARGE EXTRA FEES, CASH DEPOSITS if they wished. – I.E the $100 C... read more

Doesn't make sense that the night time front desk clerk requires $50 cash instead of charging it to a card. Hmmmm... Sounds to me like he was needing to make extra cash on the side.
