For how much parking is, $16, the facilities should be maintained better. There were rotting fish carcasses and trash across the parking lot. The bathrooms were horrific and the smaller launch dock wasn’t in the best shape.
Absolutely furious. I drove an hour to get there and the ramp was completely packed with people who had no idea what they were doing. Sat in my truck for almost 25 minutes just waiting for one guy to back his trailer up in a straight line, it was embarasing. The parking lot is way too small for the amount of traffic it gets, feels like nobody planned this out. This is definately one of the worst launch experiences I have ever had, I wont be comming back. I don’t even have a boat to launch, but the place is still beautiful. Otters float by. People kayaking throughout the day. Tourists dining next door at Sea Harvest.
