Moss recently completed a sizable two-story addition and renovation of our Arlington home. On the first floor, they expanded the kitchen; added an adjoining family room and powder room; moved the dining space; and converted the existing dining room into an office. Unfortunately I cannot give them zero stars. We used Moss to bump up our split level in 2015. We were happy with their work at the time, but since then, we have spent tens of thousands of dollars, repairing their shoddy workmanship. The first problem was a roof leak. A large portion of the roofing had already deteriorated after about seven years. It was so bad, Moss sent their roofers to repair it, even after that much time. We recently worked with MOSS on a huge project, the kitchen and two bathrooms. From design to build, MOSS was fantastic. Our project manager, Ben, was able to answer all of our questions, solved issues that arose, and was on top of everything in this complex renovation. I interviewed 4 companies for our project to add an addition over the garage (to create a new master bedroom, closet and bathroom) and renovate the old master suite into a laundry room, kid bedroom and kid bathroom. From the beginning Moss took more time than the others to understand my vision for the house. We started work Jan 2025 and the new addition was complete in mid-April. We worked with Moss Building and Design to reimagine our very dated basement bathroom and unfinished laundry room. The team was wonderful through the design phase, helping us make much better use of the space and sticking by us patiently as we figured out all of the details. The construction team was excellent and efficient. We are beyond delighted with our new bathroom and laundry room.
