We can’t say enough great things about Moss! They did our renovations a few years ago which we absolutely love. Last week, we had a closet contractor break one of our pocket doors while installing custom closets and Moss came out immediately not only to fix the mistake of the other contractor but filled in some nail pop and drywall settling in the bathroom. Truly a great company!
A year ago we worked with MOSS on a project to redo our kitchen and a portion of our finished basement. I have waited some time to write this review because I wanted to let the results sink in and really feel confident in our experience. I can say that we love the spaces as much, if not more, than we did when the project was freshly finished. We had a great experience with MOSS Building & Design several years ago for a major home addition. Recently, we reached out about an HVAC issue related to that project, and Ben Whitcher from the MOSS team responded quickly and professionally. He diagnosed and resolved the problem during a heat wave and followed up afterward to ensure everything was working. His expertise and persistence in solving the problem were much appreciated!
Unfortunately I cannot give them zero stars. We used Moss to bump up our split level in 2015. We were happy with their work at the time, but since then, we have spent tens of thousands of dollars, repairing their shoddy workmanship. The first problem was a roof leak. A large portion of the roofing had already deteriorated after about seven years. It was so bad, Moss sent their roofers to repair it, even after that much time. Moss recently completed a sizable two-story addition and renovation of our Arlington home. On the first floor, they expanded the kitchen; added an adjoining family room and powder room; moved the dining space; and converted the existing dining room into an office. On the second floor, they converted a small bedroom into a master suite with a walk-in closet. They also gutted the existing hall bath on the second floor.
