This is the worst hospital ever…. Do not go here unless you want to be taken care of by nurses and doctors that do not care about your health. Do not go to a hospital in Scranton in general.
Wow where do I start. I will say this pertains to only a few because there were a lot of great nurses. However overall the hospital is a cluster! We took my mom into er monday night. She was in er for 2 days because there were no rooms available. We were told Regional was taking patients but couldn't guarantee the ambulance bill was covered. There are no drinks for patients in er. Even though my mother was officially admitted no breakfast next day. She came in at midnight and got first meal at like 4pm. No shower for 2 days ... read more
Delivered my baby here with the PHA doctors and they are fantastic! As far as the ER... go elsewhere! My son was sick for 3 weeks, I bought him to his primary doctor 3 times and then to the Moses Taylor ER once. He had 103-104 temperatures, severe coughing, etc. The nurses and PA (Solfanelli) basically made it seem like we were lying and didn't take any of it seriously or with compassion.
