Bad experience today. I took my blood ruby ring in to get the broken shank repaired and reinforced. Was given a price and a "appraised value" which I did not note until I got home. When I went back to get the ring, the shank was soldered back together but no reinforced bar had been added.. I stated I did not want to leave it so expected me to pay invoice price.
