I have had positive experiences at Mosaic Maryville, except for one March 2025,encounter with Dr. Sally Bomar and her RN nurse in the Er that I found to be unprofessional. I presented with complaints of stomach pain and hemorrhoids, but Dr. Bomar declined to perform an examination, stating it was unnecessary. She also did not order any blood work or x-rays. The therapists here are not very good with communication. They take no acutability for their work and often try to intimidate you through disingenuous means. I can not recommend this facility to anyone.
They are a non profit hospital that gets tax exempt status the same as a church but are required by federal law to provide charity care. Law states they can make their own policy which is up to 300 percent the poverty level in mo which is approximately 46000 per year per a single individual. I dont make any where near that they up charged me 1400 per scan when ku only charged me 80 per scan and the refuse to provider charity care and kelly in financial aid in st joseph states i need to provide a medicaid denial letter which ... read more
