Dr Ellwood is highly recommended, however becareful of the receptionists as they like to think they know what doctors can and can't do... as a patient with bipolar, type 1 diabetes, adhd, extreme depression and anxiety, and ptsd, i was refused BY THE RECEPTIONIST'S to get the scripts i needed! When i asked to speak to the doctor they said he refused! Never heard those words from him himself! I then asked for them to pass the message on for me, and they said we'll try... but if it's that urgent just go to the hospital?!?!... ... read more
WORST RECEPTIONISTS EVER!! HIGHLY DISREGARDED, DISMISSED AND DISRESPECTED ON A WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL!! They act entitled to have the authority over whether or not you get to see your doctor... 5 mins late just from parking and walking in? Forget it ur appointment has been cancelled. My partner is a type 1 diabetic and was pregnant at the time and urgently needed to be seen but wasn't hospital urgent... and we were basically on time but because we didn't think to count for the 5 or less mins it takes to park and walk in... and i... read more
I question?? Why a doctor from the centre Dr Paul Muskett would prescribe" adipex" a medication for weight loss with side effects that is detrimental to a patient that has a heart condition, stroke victim as well as type 2 diabetes,that also requires medication. Who is the winner? Big pharma n doctors $$$$$
I have been going to this practice for several years. Outstanding treatment by doctors and other staff. Kind, compassionate people who deserve accolades. I’m only sad when my favourite female registrars have to move on. You should be proud Moruya Medical Centre, you’re an example of the best universal healthcare has to offer.
