I Fell of a bicycle.. Suspected a hip fracture.. Excellent care from a very professional team at emergency.. Very grateful!!.
My wife was taken by ambulance to the Maruya hospital ER on 3 April after a heavy fall in Malua Bay. CT scans were completed to seek of any broken bones. There were none, but, because of the thoroughness of the hospital doctor, a growth on her left kidney was detected. This morning we visited a specialist who was very complimentary about the accuracy & completenes of the reports sent to our GP. Well done doctors, nurses & other stall at Moruya. Many thanks.
Had a Preceptor by the name of Leanne at the Hospital a number of years ago. She was by far the worse preceptor I ever had. I hope the attitude of the likes of her have improved since then.
My adult son presented at their emergency department 1/3/25 with a debilitating back injury. The triage nurse was wonderful and caring taking him straight out the back for treatment. He was advised that he would be getting a CT to see the extent of his injury and provided pain relief immediately. He had a number of nurses attending to him. Andrew was the only nurse to show care and compassion for his injury. The other 2 female nurses were very short and bitchy which only angered my son.
