The Bird Gang sandwich is one of the greatest sandwiches I have ever eaten.
On a mission to try every RVA sandwich place and while this is towards the final few last spots to try…. As far as rankings, it easily touches the top 2-3.
I stopped eating my meal to write this review. This place is a true 1 of 1. I've never had a mix of cultures on a plate like this before. So fresh and vibrant from the plate to the atmosphere.
4.9 Food that you're not going find most places in Richmond, (Italian/Balkan) but not so out there that it's unfamiliar. All the sandwiches are on their foccacia which is excellent. Good cocktail list,wine by the glass, and they sell wine for a cooking fee if you want to drink there. The staff was friendly, and you can get pre-made meals to go.
