Always a pleasure to stay with Morton and Furbish. All of their cabins I've stayed in have been beautiful and clean. They also have the best equipped kitchens of any rentals I've been in to date. I especially appreciate the stocked spices, and condiments, because I hate to buy such stuff on work trips when I only need a little.
Over the years our family has utilized many vacation rental agencies and sites and have never encountered any that come close to Morton & Furbush standards! Every request or inquiry was responded to in mere minutes. Their help in finding the perfect location and checking to make sure we were satisfied was outstanding. Interesting! If you are older the stairs are an issue. One bathroom is a problem with two couples. No staples provided. It would be nice to know that ahead of time. It is a pretty spot sparsely furnished.
We rented Edgewater for a three generational family gathering and found it just perfect. The set up with two different upstairs areas was great for the two sets of parents with toddlers and the downstairs ensuite bedroom was perfect for the grandparents. The yard has plenty of room for running around and there are lots of lawn games available. The view of the lake is relaxing and sunsets are spectacular. We had a great trip which consisted of brothers, brothers in law, nephews, and friends. All had a great time. Hunting for Partridge, playing cards, discussing world affairs and enjoying great food, drink and company. The weather also made it a great week
