Mortlake Automotive are the best! They serviced my car and replaced the EGR valve quickly and professionally. The guys are always friendly, and they know my car better than anyone since they’ve looked after it for years. Cost was less than I expected too. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Drove from Wollongong in torrential rain on Thursday to visit the dentist. Got in my car in the IGA car park to make the drive home when suddenly my steering locked and I barely made the turn out of IGA onto Tennyson Rd. In desperation I coaxed my car into Mortlake Automotive which was fortunately right there next to the dentist. When I asked if they could help they dropped everything to take a look. Frank and his team are fabulous to deal with. 5 star customer service! He replaced my flat tyre at a minutes notice. Nothing was ever a problem for him. This local business is a gem to have in the local area. Thanks Frank !
They charged $650 for a battery replacement. For the same thing Repco charge $399 + fitting. I understand a mechanic shop needs to make some money and I'm happy to support a local business near home. However, the margin is a bit too much so I will look for another shop next time.
