Not impressed with the lack of friendly greeting at the Department of Radiology Reception area. I walked up to one guy that did everything he could to not make eye contact and acknowledge me. Finally the girl in the next cubicle called me over. Appointment was for 10:00am. Patients kept coming and going after us. Finally at 11:00 my husband was taken back. Another odd thing is not one person asked my husband for a photo ID. He gave them his name and that was good enough for them.

Alyssa in Radiology is the best. (Basement-level D) She helped me not be stressed or worried on about my MRI Sunday. She made me eye covers, got me a heated blanket and was a pleasure to visit with. (Yes I said made me eye covers) it was my first procedure like this and I was really nervous. I didn’t want to see the machines. I was scared, Alyssa though was made for this. Made all the difference in the world. I hope I never have to see her again but if I do it will be with a smile instead of a tear.
Been there for x-ray two times. But i will avoid there if i could. Staff were nice, especially the technician was very kind. Waiting time is bad if you walk in. My complaint is the way they set up the area. The 2 curtain-closed changing rooms are in the same room with a small waiting area with men and women. It felt very unsafe as I changed into the hospital gown. The worst part is that you need to walk out to the busy hallway to go to the x-ray room wearing that back-opened gown. MMC really should re-configure that areas.
