Absolutely loved our stay at Morrison House in Alexandria! The rooms were beautiful, luxurious, and inviting, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The in-house bar was a wonderful spot to unwind with a cocktail. Perfect for a romantic couples’ getaway, with fantastic restaurants just steps away and DC an easy Uber ride away. Such a charming boutique hotel with a personal touch. Can’t recommend it enough!

I was looking forward to this as a nice stay, at the halfway point of a long trip. The valet was very friendly and helpful, but overall we did not love our stay. We had booked a ground floor for ease with our large dog, and were put on the third floor. The towels and robes were in rough shape, and our carpet was damp. The AC didn’t work well, and to watch anything on TV besides public access channels you had to pay. It would have been $25 to watch Moana. It was not a welcoming vibe overall.
