Dr. Wortman is the best GYN around. I have been his patient for over 40+ years. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience. I highly recommend him because has empathetic towards his patients. Wise, kind, trustworthy. Brilliant doctor. Not only is he technically excellent; he is exceptionally thorough, empathetic, and decisive. You will get results with him and feel genuinely cared for. My local gyn has become very dismissive over the years. My anxiety over just regular appointments was getting worse each year and then my anxiety over getting my IUD replaced was on a whole other level. Dr Wortman and his staff changed my life. They were able to do any biopsies and my IUD replacement all in one visit while I was under anesthesia. They actually listened to me and my concerns and didn't brush me off. I’ve been seeing Dr. Wortman and his NP, Amy for about 10 years and I won’t go anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Dr. Wortman truly cares for his patients and takes his time explaining things. If you’re looking for a new OBGYN, I highly recommend this office.
