I have 3 dogs. I have been a client of Sunrise Veterinary for over 5 years. This office is a pure MONEY GRAB. They care very little for your pet. Not to mention the ridiculous wait to see the vet. I brought in my 16 year old pit bull. The vet kept offering ridiculous suggestions for her age. I was given 2 very expensive medications which might have actually made her worse. I can't say enough for the excellant care my pets have received over the years, from the assistants to Dr. Danboise. You can tell they love the animals. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was that they wanted almost 52.00 to trim my kittens nails. That's after i spent alot of money to treat my older cats infected face from the kitten scratching his face.
I had a very bad experience at Madera Pet Hospital. I gave a one star not negative stars because the bratty, immature Vet Elena de Morelos was willing to see my cat early. It was not okay the way she treated me and my cat. I am a long time customer of over thirty years. She said something mean during the appointment and it got worse from there. The VCA Wellington Hospital in Newtown Square offered and charged our daughter $70 for a Rabies shot, which was already covered at the SPCA when we bought her a new kitten. The Manager there said they were given my contact info from the SPCA and the kitten's medical records, except the one that stated a rabies shot was already covered and scheduled. I will start off by saying that Dr. Jeanett is awesome, but the front staff is so inept and this issue started several years ago. I asked them not to continually send us emails, texts and calls trying to get us to schedule our pets more than once a year, but it is all a money grab. I have always gotten their shots together, but they try to make you come in every 6 months by claiming your pet needs a shot and then you have to do the exam to get the shot. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.Dr. Noelle Rathmell is so rude and unprofessional and the staff does not call you back like they say they are going to. My wienie dog got the typical back injury that caused his back legs to be paralyzed. I have no complaint concerning the treatment of my pet. However, I took her in for three vaccination shots - normally at any other vet clinic under $100. VCA did tests about which they didn't inform me nor did I approve them, and the bill was over $400. I expect to be consulted BEFORE a test or treatment is done; for all VCA knew, another vet had recently done the same tests. Or my pet may have formerly had a bad reaction.
