EDIT: We did not make an offer, we made an Expression of Interest which is different to an offer and she was suggesting he gives a holding deposit ($20-25k since the property we were looking at was in the $940k+ range). I'm putting this here to make people aware of the difference between an EOI and an actual offer. We call agents prior to viewing to ask if a property is under contract or offer so we don't waste our time. My experience with Morris Property has been a very positive one. We found the process of renting (storage) was an easy process from application to picking up keys. The service and communication has been nothing but professional and friendly.
Carolyn Robinson was extremely helpful with assisting to rent a storage unit. Even when things took a turn (my end) and could not vacate the unit on the day advised, she was very understanding and accommodating. Thank you for your assistance Carolyn and the rest of the staff. You made things very easy and without stress. Highly recommend.
I purchased a property through Morris Property late last year. What I didn't mention during the buying process is I have been a real estate agent for over 20 years.
