Every now and then I will go there but they have some very good food I would recommend them to anybody that loves barbecue to go to Morris BBQ in hookerton North Carolina
Top tier eastern NC barbecue. Love the sauce.
I learned about this place over a year ago. However, they were always closed when I went there. Recently, WITN was advertising a promotion for people to patronize several barbecue restaurants and breweries. Morris Barbecue was one of the restaurants, and I was determined to get more information. I found out their operating hours and showed up. I was not disappointed! My wife and I were passing through the area this past Saturday. We have our usual spot in Ayden, but the last few times it just hadn’t been on point and my buddy Jolley had told me about Morris’. I’m glad he did because they serve some damn fine Q. Clean chopped and lightly seasoned the flavor of the meat really shows through.
