Superb experience working with Tom Higgins and Morningtide Financial. This is my 3rd time working on a house with him over a 16 year period. And yet again, a fantastic smooth process from start to finish. Tom and Ula really go out to bat for all their clients in every way possible. They are highly knowledgable in the mortgage industry, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone buying a house!
Tom has been fantastic to work with. During our first mortgage application, he took the time to explain every step and number in detail, answer all of our dumb questions, and chased us for documents to get through the process efficiently. While working on a refinance, Tom tracked rates for us, providing updates through a volatile market and locked in an amazing rate saving us hundreds a month when other lenders couldn't beat his original rate. Couldn't ask for anyone better!
I worked with Tom on what I’d say was a high risk, low reward (for him, obviously) pair of loans, which he powered through, as if that were normal behavior. If your finances are gnarly, you’ve likely found this review by seeking out a broker, not a lender: you need Indiana Mortgage-Jones, because everyone you approach seems to leave the country mid-discussion. This company will fight tooth & nail to get you the absolute best terms possible! Friendly group, feel like I've known them my whole life. Very easy to talk to and communicate your needs and preferences. I highly recommend, 6 out of 5 stars!!!
