My parents moved into the Wheat Ridge MorningStar a year ago and I’ve been very impressed with the staff and the facility. The medical staff has been very professional & communicative, the social staff keeps my parents engaged, the dining hall/kitchen always has something that appeals and the administrative staff keeps things moving smoothly. After researching several facilities, we have been so blessed to have my parents at Morningstar wheat ridge assisted living, and now memory care. The staff is second to none! Their level of caring and expertise is evident in everything they do. I can trust my parents' care completely to them. The facility is warm and residential, not hospital like at all. If I could give this place a 0 I would! This morningstar in wheat ridge was beyond horrible place! They did an assessment on my mom in her home and said she was a candidate for assisted living. I was told she would have a chaperone to and from dining room and also room checks. I set up a camera in her room and none of that was done! They let her sit in her room and no one would come check on her. The nurse sent me an email to hold a medication that she was not even on.
