We chose morningstar out of many options because...cheery, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful staff, clean facility and efficient communications. We knew our Mum was going to be well cared for...and she has been.
Terrible communication and poor management. Send your loved ones elsewhere.
My father is loving all the social aspects that are featured and how friendly everyone has been, residents and staff. There are a few glitches though. His showers and laundry schedule are still a work in progress. Despite having the days listed as to when, the staff hasn’t been able to get to him unless I raise the issue. His medication is mostly resolved though I did learn if he’s not in his room at the time he’s scheduled for medication he doesn’t get it. I toured MorningStar while my siblings and I were searching for the best local assisted living facility for our mother. This is a beautiful modern facility with so many amenities. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, warm, and kind. I especially want to mention the wonderful interactions I had with Sarah, who spent so much time doing the tour with me and answering my many questions.
