The waterfall is the best in Manhattan but kind of hard to photograph.
I was walking around the Columbia Univ area and entered Morningside Park . Walking past ball fields and lots of benches and grassy areas, I finally got to the big pond in the middle. There I found the Morningside Waterfall up against the tall rocky side of the pond. Pretty nice to see this in the city. Lots of turtles in the pond as well. This is a very peaceful park and not too crowded.
